Statement:
Our role is to empower people with diabetes to achieve
optimum overall long-term health and well being. Our goal as a team
is to maximise quality of life for people with diabetes by providing
the best possible advice and care, taking into account the patient's
beliefs and choices.
Welcome to the Diabetic
Clinic:
Using these pages, we hope to provide answers to many of the questions
you have about coping with the challenge of diabetes. Morland House
Diabetes team is firmly committed to delivering excellence in diabetes
care. We hope you will find the information useful and easy to understand.
Within this section you will find information on a range of subjects,
from what happens at the Diabetic clinic to information on how to care
for your feet. There are hardly any situations in daily life where direct
contact with a health professional is essential. What you may need,
though, is guidance on a range of daily situations which can be provided
by an online reference source. We will also provide you with links to
other useful sites.

If you e-mail any department in the practice please do not expect an immediate reply, we tend not to answer e-mails during busy surgeries and cannot guarantee an immediate response.
The
Diabetic Clinic is held once a week so please allow up to seven days
for a response.
Opening Times:
The Diabetic Clinic runs from 8:30am to 6pm on each Thursday of the
month. We also provide diabetes care to patients who are housebound.
