Patients who live further than a mile from the surgery may have their medicines dispensed by the practice. If you live within a mile of the surgery you may: take your prescription to the pharmacy of your choice; leave your prescription at the surgery to be collected by the Co-op pharmacy in Wheatley, who will then dispense your medicines for you collect from them; or leave your prescription to be collected by Boots pharmacy who will deliver the medicines to your home (see Home delivery services).
It is our Practice policy to dispense one month’s supply only of medication at each prescription repeat.

EMISAccess will give you a facility to send repeat medication requests to the surgery.
When our dispensary team has accessed the request it will display as accepted on your EMIS Access home page. Please note that this does not mean that the prescription is ready. It merely means that the request is being processed. We still require 2 working days to process requests. Please do not send requests for any medication not on your repeat list.

You can request a repeat prescription by email. We aim for prescriptions to be processed within 2 working days Monday to Friday.
Dispensary will not send a reply to emails if you are requesting a repeat prescription.
Opening Times
The dispensary is open from 8am - 6.30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and Saturday 8:30am to 11:30am. On Wednesday, the Dispensary opening times will be 8am - 1:30pm and 3:30pm - 6:30pm.
The dispensary telephone line is open between 12.30 and 2pm Monday to Friday, when a member of the dispensary staff is available to answer your queries. We will be unable to take telephone enquires on Saturdays. Please do not leave messages on the answer machine. For urgent queries, that cannot wait until they are open, please call the surgery on 01865 872448.
