Dr Anthony Harnden MB ChB (Birmingham 1983) MSc FRCGP MRCP FRCPCH DCH

Dr Anthony Harnden is the senior partner. He graduated from Birmingham University Medical School in 1983. After hospital training in paediatrics and vocational training in general practice joined the practice in 1990. He was appointed a Senior Lecturer at Oxford University in 2001 and to a Governing Body Fellowship of St Hugh’s College. His research interests are in childhood illness, specifically common infections, vaccine preventable infection and the early diagnosis of serious disease. He has published a number of original articles and is co-author of a book ‘Promoting Child Health in Primary Care’. He is the GP member of the Joint Committee of Vaccination and Immunisation and advises the Department of Health, the Royal College of General Practitioners, NICE and the British Medical Journal. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.



Dr David Copping MB BS (London 1991) BSc MRCGP DCH DRCOG DFFP DPD

Dr David Copping qualified from St Mary’s Hospital, London in 1991. Since then he has worked in Australia and New Zealand before joining Morland House Surgery in 1999. Sub-specialty interests include skin diseases and minor surgery, He achieved a diploma in dermatology in 2004. Dr Copping was born and lives in Long Crendon. His career has been followed by the BBC in the TV programme ‘Doctors to be – 20 years on’.


Dr Lynda Ware MA MB BChir (Cambridge 1978) MRCGP DRCOG

Dr Lynda Ware has been a partner in the Wheatley GP practice since 1983. She trainied at Cambridge University and Westminster Medical School. Her particular interests are in psychiatry and gynaecology. She is a member of the Oxfordshire NHS Users group and the Oxfordshire Sexual health Network.
