Travel Clinic

Who is the clinic for?

The clinic is for anyone planning a holiday or trip outside of the United Kingdom.

What is the purpose of the clinic?

The clinic provides up to date information on immunisations and appropriate precautions to take whilst travelling abroad.

All travellers should be up to date with tetanus and polio immunisations (within the past 10 years) if you are travelling outside Western Europe and you may need other immunisations or anti-malarial.

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel please make an appointment in our travel clinic, if possible two or three months ahead of your trip. Please bring as much information with you. This should include the countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.  There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below.

What are the clinic opening times?

Information on clinic times can be obtained from:

The surgery reception on: 01865 872448

By emailing the travel clinic nurses using: travel.clinic@gp-K84014.nhs.uk

PLEASE NOTE!

If you email any department in the practice please do not expect an immediate reply. We tend not to answer emails during busy surgeries and cannot guarantee an immediate response. We will try to reply to your query within 48 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays).

Who runs the clinic?

Our travel clinic nurses run the travel clinic.
