Talking Space offers a range of talking therapies to patients registered with an Oxfordshire GP who have been experiencing a range of mental health problems, including low mood, anxiety and depression, as well as those who want help with managing life with long term health conditions.
As an NHS provider, the service is completely free, and you do not need to be referred by your GP. The majority of adults self-refer, but adolescents aged 16-18 must be referred by Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
In order to provide the most appropriate and comprehensive treatment, the team consists of a variety of professionals, including:
- Psychological wellbeing practitioners
- Cognitive behavioural therapists
- Clinical and counselling psychologists
- Employment Support Advisers
